The Car Headunits, (Double Din and Single Dins dvd / cd / Radio players) are all 'AFTER MARKET Systems' therefore specially manufactured to FIT 99% OF ALL VEHICLES. After market simply means, in laymans terms.... THE UNIT was made after the car was manufacturered and did NOT come bought and installed inside your car at the time of sale, and / or made particular for your car. (Eg special panel Factory Fit). FACTORY FIT, means double dins or single dins made SPECIALLY for your vehicle eg a FORD Mondeo 2008 Factory fit will have built in steering wheel controls, and fascia surround will match perfectly the Ford Mondeo 2008. Sections In WILL IT FIT MY CAR? Single Din Questions What is a single din? A single din is (see photo) the name of the size of the radio / cd player designed to fit your car. When you look at the section in the front of your car where it would be fitted, is the space about 3 inches high and about 7 inches wide? If so this is a single din slot. MANY OF OUR SINGLE DINS HAVE A 7 INCH FLIP OUT SCREEN WHICH RETRACTS BACK INTO THE SINGLE DIN WHEN NOT IN USE. Will your single dins fit my car? After Market single din, (that means a single din bought AFTER the car, not built in the car already), are universal size of all single din regions / slots in your car. What extra parts will I need for it to fit? We advise you have a professional fitter fit most of our products, he will bring the parts if required. Generally, a car may need, A Fascia A Lead An Aerial adapter. Some cars need all three parts, some cars need one or two and some cars need none, it depends on the make of your car. How much will it cost for a fitter to fit the single din to my car? We give free car cameras with each ice model with a screen for reversing. Therefore for both the single din and the car camera to be fitted it is usually £130.00 + any parts. The parts usually cost approx £10.00 and £5.00 for an aerial adapter, if your car needs them. Yes, as the headrests are UNIVERSAL as they have 'legs' on them which can move approx 2inches left and right, therefore they can move 2 inches either way to adjust into your car seats. We have fitted most cars and so far there has not been any models the headrests have not fitted into. How do they fit? You, or the fitter, removes the 'headrest pillow section' on your car seat and inserts the new headrests with the built in monitor and dvd player. Where are the monitors / dvd screens? They are built into the pillow of the headrest, therefore the dvd is inserted behind or to the side of the monitor screen and then the film is played on the screen. I have two children can they both watch their own dvd at the same time? Yes, presuming you purchase the £299.99 or £399.99 set,there is a dvd player in each headrest, so it has its own system and own audio chanel, so one child can watch say, Spong Bob, and the other can watch say, Star Trek. Will the audio, sound get mixed up if two films (dvd's) are playing at the same time? No, as the infra red headphones, have two chanels on them, one for each headrest. Can the driver still play a cd on the in dash system in the front of my car? Yes, presuming you alread have a cd/radio system in the front of your vehicle, it will play as normal and the audio will come out of your car speakers. The headrests are fitted and wired differently to your car radio and they do not affect them. How do the headrests get their power? The headrests are wired professionally, and the wires go down into the inside of the car seat, then connected to a 'wire with power' going via the back of your car to the front of the car. Can both children watch the same video at the same time? Yes, put the chosen dvd into one monitor and switch the headphones to the same chanel and the audio will go from the monitor to both the headphones and the children can watch one screen. We do have one dvd headrest set and a slave, which is the second headrest pair only is a screen. Therefore both monitors play the same video / dvd at the same time. Do I need to buy the infra red headphones? Yes, if you want the headrests audio / sound to go straight to the headphones, so their is quiet in the car from the film/s or game/s playing. Can I connect my sony play station to the headrest dvd players? Yes it will need a converter so it can get power from the car system which is around £60.00.
